Alison has a unique blend of industry experience and education expertise. She has an extensive background in workforce development and vocational education, having worked in TAFEs, dual sector intuitions and government where she specialised in policy application, skills development and training design and assessment.  She has led state and national projects focused on addressing workforce gaps at organisations such as NBN Co and Major Road Projects Victoria and also served as the Deputy Chair of the national ICT Industry Reference Committee, developing training products at both the state and national levels. As Chief of Staff at the Future Skills Organisation (FSO), the Jobs and Skills Council (JSC) for the finance, technology and business sectors, Alison oversees the integration of FSO’s program of work. The FSO's role is to ensure vocational training a preferred choice for learning finance, technology and business skills. This is achieved by partnering with industry and the VET sector to fast-track innovative training solutions which meet the demand for the most important skills.
