Learn how to use the features for movie creation in iMovie and get ideas for how those techniques can be used in creative ways to tell your story. We will explore the various visual and auditory cues, and the message they are telling.

During this session you will learn to:

  • Import and edit vide including green screen video, split screen, picture in picture, plus more.
  • Record a narration and use sound effects.
  • Use transitions and filters to create the desired meaning.

Participants should bring:

Watch on your Mac and bring your iPad with iMovie app with the download session content to play on.

We will explore different approaches to illustrating their work and adding audio to make their stories accessible to all learners. Along the way we will discover how Pages can be used to support our young writers — particularly the reluctant!

Learn the fundamentals of setting up a podcast using a range of recording equipment – from simple to a little more complex with multi–track recording. We will look at how to get started with scripting and generate effective artwork. We will also touch on the necessary requirements needed to publish to the Apple podcasts service.

During this session you will learn how to…

  • Map out a prescription/discussion points.
  • Set up a range of audio equipment for multi–track recording to iPad.
  • Create associated artwork.
  • Use an aggregator and iTunes producer to publish to Apple Podcasts.

iPad with updated GarageBand , Keynote and Pages apps.
