This webinar will describe the teaching and learning experience WMYC had in place prior to COVID-19, how the school coped with online learning during the school lock down period, and the plans WMYC has for their educational technology experience as we come through the other side of the pandemic.

Steven Fouracre is the Assistant Principal at Wodonga Middle Years College and an expert in delivering blended learning solutions to students over the course of 15 years.

With a background in educational technology, Steven is passionate about supporting individual students through online delivery models with a key focus on student outcomes and teacher development through the use of Brightspace LMS.

Wodonga Middle Years College continues to see learning growth for all students across all learning areas within the Victorian Curriculum and prides itself on its motto 'Every Student, Every Opportunity, Success for All'.

Jennifer Dewar
Senior Education Consultant

Jennifer Dewar has 25 years of experience in the education sector, spanning across school education, VET, further education and higher education. Her experience includes working with schools to enhance online teaching and learning for K-6 mathematics, writing and delivering training programs in adult education environments, and assisting university academics with planning and implementing their blended and online courses. Prior to joining D2L, Jennifer worked for many years in higher education publishing where she was actively involved in the evolution of eLearning, from the early days of interactive technologies embedded within the LMS, to more advanced blended learning courses and fully online experiences. As a result of this journey from print to digital, Jennifer developed a passion for eLearning and completed post graduate studies with a particular focus on innovative eLearning pedagogy and the development of eLearning communities. Jennifer’s role at D2L revolves around consultation with educational institutions, to assist with the execution of their strategic directions, to enhance digital enablement at a time of rapid change, and in a market that demands increased emphasis on collaboration, job readiness and the quality of the student experience.
