Dr. Vishal Shukla is presently working as an Associate Professor at AURO University. He has teaching and research experience of fifteen years. He holds a doctoral degree from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and MBA from HBTI, Kanpur. He is a passionate academician, researcher and keen learner who believes in the holistic development of students through knowledge dissemination. His teaching interest includes Business and Social Science Research Methods, Business Analytics, and Marketing Courses. He is an IBM Certified Professional Trainer and is actively involved in providing hands-on training on statistical tools such as IBM-SPSS, R, Python, Tableau, etc. to both the academia and the corporates. He has conducted many FDPs and MDPs both for the academia and the corporates and to date has trained more than 1000 people comprising faculty members, research scholars and corporates in the field of statistics and data science. He has been invited resource person in ATAL FDPs and ICSSR-sponsored FDPs conducted by some reputed universities like Aligarh Muslim University, BBAU Central University, Lucknow and GGSIP, New Delhi. 

His research interests include service business, rural marketing and the application of AI and ML in Business. He has to his credit 21 research papers out of which 4 are in ABDC-listed journals, 7 are in SCOPUS and Web of Science indexed journals. He also serves regularly as a reviewer of some prestigious academic journals.

He has been nominated by the MHRD, Govt. of India as a subject expert to draft the contents of the vocational courses under the Skill India Program of Govt. of India. He has also been selected as the Mentor of Change under Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India.
