As a Regional Sales Manager for Membean, I help international schools solve their vocabulary and literacy obstacles by introducing them to Membean and then supporting the administration and teaching staff in every step of the adoption and implementation of the program. My role is to both generate new leads while offering excellent support during the trial period and after purchase care to our existing customers. I give in-person as well as online presentations and trainings and I also represent Membean at educational conferences and on content-specific webinars. My career began as a language and history teacher, first in the United States and then abroad in China and the United Arab Emirates. After 17 years of teaching, it was time to leave the classroom to both challenge myself to use my skills in a new way and to broaden my educational reach. I love working in the EdTech arena as it keeps me connected to the educaitonal world but has allowed me to expand my expereince beyond the four walls of a classroom.
