Valerie Tan, Teacher, Canadian International School

Valerie is a bilingual primary school educator. Her belief as an educator starts from her core. She strongly believes in connection before content. Connecting with people and making people feel relatable in conversations is one tip she always practices during her interactions with her students, colleagues and the learning community in her school. She is passionate about learning and is always seeking opportunities to learn something new every single day. Apart from teaching, she enjoys making vlogs when she travels as she loves the fact that she gets to reminisce about her travel moments whenever she likes.
