Suan is the Head of Adoption and Customer Success on the Google for Education team, working with educators all across the Asia-Pacific region to enable the use of technology inside and outside the classroom.

Having lived and worked in 6 different countries and across 4 product teams over 20 years at Google, he’s finally settled in sunny Sydney with his wife and two tweens. With a background in starting and managing high-performing teams, Suan is passionate about supporting teachers to empower our next generation of learners. When he’s not keynoting Edtech conferences, he enjoys visiting schools and sits on the school board of a Montessori school in Bondi.

Fireside Chat: Technology supporting the next generation of athletes in Singapore Sports School

E-assessments for sports science: Chromebooks and locked quiz mode for exercise assessments (Sec 3 and 4, twice a year).
Record lessons for catching up: tablet PCs and Screencastify to record lessons for students missing classes (due to competitions and training).
Gen AI for lesson plans and assistance: using AI to design lesson plans (e.g.: humanities) and reduce teacher workload, providing immediate feedback and guidance to students.
Practice sets on Google Classroom: real-time learning from mistakes, reducing dependency on teacher guidance.
