Stephen Loggie, Principal, Island School

Stephen Loggie has been a Principal for over 25 years, across 10 different primary and secondary schools across Australia and Hong Kong. Australia. During his career he has been the foundation principal at 2 schools including the Queensland Academy of Science Maths and Technology which is Australians leading IB World School. He is currently the principal of Island School, a flagship school of the English Schools Foundation. Under his leadership the school has decanted from its Mid-Levels location whilst a comprehensive redevelopment takes place which will be completed in 2022.

Stephen values collegial engagement and is a fellow of the Australian Council of Educational Leadership. He is proud of his record of serving broader educational initiatives. Stephen is committed to high standards of professional practice. He is passionate about working collegially to ensure every student achieves their potential in a manner that enables them to live a fulfilling life.
