Shu Tian has been in education for more than 10 years. She is currently the Head of the Educational Technology department at St. Anthony’s Primary School. She has led the department and the school through various changes which include the use of technological tools to support teaching and learning both in the classroom and during home-based learning. Shu Tian also conceptualized and implemented the school’s Applied Learning Programme – CODE @ SAPS which is a customized coding curriculum, specially designed for P2 to P5 students. The programme aims to equip the students with the fundamentals of computational thinking, inventive thinking and critical thinking in a psychologically safe environment. Shu Tian has attained several Outstanding Contribution awards over the years, and she was the recipient of the Distinguished InnoChamp Award in 2020. In recognition of her remarkable contribution to the education fraternity, Shu Tian was presented with the MOE Outstanding Youth in Education Award in the year 2022.
