Shu Tian Tan, Head of Department, Edtech, St. Anthony's Primary School

Shu Tian has been heading the Educational Technology department in St. Anthony’s Primary School for 7 years. She has led the department and the school for various changes, namely the use of technological tools to support teaching and learning for students in classes of different abilities and during Home based Learning and the conceptualization and implementation of the school’s Applied Learning Programme – CODE @ SAPS, aligning to the school’s vision – Caring Hearts, Passionate and Joyful Learners; Lasallians in service of God, family and nation. CODE@SAPS is a customized coding curriculum, specially designed for P2 to P5 students to equip them with the fundamentals of computational thinking, inventive thinking and critical thinking in a psychologically safe environment. In recognition of her contribution, she has been awarded as one of the 6 recipient of the MOE Teaching Award, Outstanding Youth Educator Award in the year 2022.
