Shan Na Ng, Head, Centre for Counselling Services & Student Welfare, Taylor's University

Ng Shan Na is a licensed counsellor and a certified counselling supervisor under Malaysia Board of Counsellors, graduated from Psychology degree and Masters in Education (Guidance and Counselling). She has been involved in higher education, student development and counselling field for 14 years, conducting psychological counselling, development programme as well as providing lectures and supervision to students or counselling trainees. Certified in the approach of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, she likes to journey with clients to reach their desired path or goal. Passionate in the field of mental health and personal welfare, she involves in many exercises to create awareness of counselling and mental health to the campus community, students and staff alike. She also has the experiences in teaching and volunteering for young adults, parents and teachers in overseas such as the Philippines and Cambodia. It is also her belief that every individual will have their own resilience, potential and time to grow uniquely.
