Dr. Rosario O. Lapus is an educator and specialist in Human Development from early childhood to gerontology. After finishing her undergraduate degree in Manila, she obtained various post graduate degrees and diplomas from Boston College, University of Massachusetts-Boston, and the University of the Philippines. She also did post-doctoral work as Associate and Visiting Researcher in the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Philosophy of Education Research Center in Harvard University. She also served as the Massachusetts Coordinator for Healthy Aging programs and was leader of its Fall Prevention program. She continues to serve the field of education as President of Miriam College.
