Nicki Coombs | Executive Principal

Nicki Coombs has been the Executive Principal at Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School since joining in January 2019. Previously she was the Principal of Beaconhouse Newlands International School. Her move from the UK to Malaysia brought with it many opportunities to develop the holistic education that is provided for the students in her care. The development of a full extra curricula programme across all disciplines has served to enrich and enhance the 21st century skills needed for the students to leave school as confident and capable young adults. Before moving to Malaysia, Nicki was the Deputy Head, pastoral at Queen Anne’s School Caversham, where she led a new Saturday morning enrichment programme for students, developed a training programme with the Institute of Leadership and Management, and supported many initiatives to develop the understanding of how children learn and the impact their development has as they move through their education journey. Nicki has presented at a number of conferences and webinars on a variety of topics for both school leaders and parents. Believing, that no opportunity should be missed she leads by example and is a supporter of staff and students having the opportunity to grow and develop at all stages of life.
