Melissa Riley | Deputy Principal
Sacred Heart College Geelong

Melissa Riley, Deputy Principal, Sacred Heart College Geelong

Melissa is an educator committed to ensuring all learners are understood, valued and given the support they need to thrive. In a career that has spanned a variety of ICT and curriculum leadership roles, Melissa is now Deputy Principal at an all-girls Catholic secondary school in Victoria, Australia. Her latest projects include coaching her teams to embrace a systems-thinking approach to their role in leading and teaching young people; rethinking the nature of the school day and what schooling in a modern context could look like; and the insights that could come from AI-driven systems that support student learning. She remains a learner at heart, open to new ideas and always looking to break down barriers to progress and growth.
