Dr Maylyn Tan works with institutions and educators to shape teaching and learning approaches. In her current role, she facilitates the interconnected model of professional growth through adjunct faculty talent management, performance support and instructional competency development.
Drawing from her expertise in faculty development and instructional design, Maylyn endeavors to create learning experiences that are meaningful, interactive, and practical. She constantly experiments with learning technologies, leveraging data analytics for evidence-based decision-making, and a strong advocate for digitalization to bring learning closer to the workflow. Maylyn also hosts regular scholarly exchanges and professional learning events with the academic community to infuse learning sciences in teaching practices.
Maylyn received her degree in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Her passion for education has led her to pursue advanced qualifications with Melbourne University and Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
