Marcia Nina C. Salvador is an Assistant Professor at the Philippine Normal University-Manila. She is a Faculty and Supervisor of Practice Teachers and Field Students at the Institute of Teaching and Learning and an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences (College of Teacher Development). Currently, Nina is also an Early Childhood Education Project Creator and Author in REX Education. She is also a member of the Philippine Association for Teachers of Education-United Professionals for the Development and Advancement of Teacher Education (PATEF-UPDATE), Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC), Reading Association of the Philippines (RAP), and a volunteer in the after-school tutorial program of the Progressive Assistance Canada Charity Play and Catch-Up (PACC-PCU) in the iVolunteer Philippines for the children in Tondo, Manila. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten Education from St. Joseph’s College and her Masteral degree in Early Childhood Education from Philippine Normal University-Manila. Nina is currently pursuing Doctor in Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction at PNU-Manila and completed courses in the Global Citizenship Education (GCED) Online Campus by UNESCO-APCIEU. Her research interests reside in Curriculum and Instruction, Curriculum Governance, Transformative Education, Global Citizenship Education (GCED), Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Literacy, and Early Childhood Education.
