Kelly Somerville, Assistant Head (Diversity & Development), Australian International School, Singapore

Kelly Somerville works at the Australian International School, Singapore and is in a whole school role as the Assistant Head. Kelly has been at AIS for 18 years and has taken on various teaching and leadership roles. Kelly’s work is dedicated to supporting teaching teams to build a strong sense of belonging in the classroom and school environment. Kelly has designed whole school processes and structures for co-teaching models of support and targeted intervention programmes. Kelly leads high-performance teams working with students with learning differences and for students developing their English Language skills. She enjoys action research projects utilising data to inform whole school development and change.
