Kamran is an EdTech Researcher and Trainer. He is currently working as Assistant Director IT at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Pakistan which is one of the mega open universities of the world. He is also a Ph.D. research scholar at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan which is ranked #1 in Pakistan and is among the top 100 Asian universities according to QS world university ranking 2023. His area of research revolves around GIS, Spatial Learning Analytics and Distance Education. He is a very dynamic and active young researcher. He is passionate about EdTech, Research and teaching. He has received several international awards and research fellowships including one Gold Medal and two Silver Medals from the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU) and has more than 20 research publications in different journals and conferences.
