This information allows her to tailor her teaching approaches and content accordingly, ensuring that she stays relevant and connects with her students on a deeper level.
Not afraid to embrace experimentation, Jurana eagerly explores different ICT tools and pedagogical approaches. She constantly seeks innovative ways to enhance the learning experience and willingly shares her discoveries with her fellow colleagues. EDUtech Asia 2023 Conference Day 2 @ 12:20

Empowering students’ learning through the use of Google Sites

  • The Self-Initiated Learning (SIL) with Google Sites project is a whole-school approach for students to engage in self-directed learning. This platform encourages students to take charge of their own learning and share their progress and achievement with their peers and form teachers.
  • Personalised Google Sites help to build positive teacher-student relationships as teachers are able to access students’ interests and passions beyond the classroom.
  • Google Sites enable sustainability and continuation in learning as the individual Google Sites can be passed down from year to year even when the students change classes. Students can also use their SIL e-Portfolio as part of their achievement for the Early Admission Exercise (EAE) application in their graduating year.
