Emily Toh, Lecturer, National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC)

Emily Toh is a lecturer at the National Institute of Early Childhood Development in Singapore. She teaches full-time pre-service teachers at the Polytechnic level. Her subject areas include Child Development, Curriculum Design, Principles & Practices, Child Health & Safety, Research Modules and Professional & Reflective Practitioners. 

Emily has various publication contributions in international Journals, conferences & articles. Her research examines the use of technology in preschools & the use of ICT by preschool teachers. Her recent studies explore the use of technology in teaching and learning at polytechnic as well as students’ preferences in the use of technology for learning.
