Edwin Ong | Teacher

Edwin Ong, Teacher, St. Anthony's Primary School

Edwin teaches upper primary students English Language and he particularly loves tinkering with creative writing lesson ideas. He believes that writing is an incredibly complex process and, therefore, young writers need a lot of support and encouragement. As such, he often designs writing lessons that offer collaborative writing opportunities, where students exchange ideas and provide feedback on one another’s writing.   Technology in education continues to fascinate him. Other than making the learning process more interactive and engaging for students of today, the use of digital tools provides students with a dynamic learning environment that stimulates their interest and motivation to express their perspectives and ideas.    When he is not on duty, he can usually be found in his reading nook or on the tennis court.
