Dr. Kulappu Archchige Lalithadheera | Director General
Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission

  Dr. K.A. Lalithadheera has beeing saving as the Director General of Tertiary and Vocational Education Commision since 24th April 2021.  He has over 28 years of experiance in the Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) sector, Particularly on policy formulation, research, national and provincial and district level training planing, training  implementation, monitoring and the human resource development. He represent as the Ex-Officio member of the Governing Councils of  National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA), Ocen University of Sri Lanka, Ceylon German Technical Training School, National Human Resources Development Council (NHRDC) and the Engineering Council of Sri Lanka (ECSL). Dr. Lalithadheera has written many books and articles on TVET, Research Methodology, Labour Market Issues, Economics and Human Capital Investment.  He holds a Bachelow of Arts (Hons) Degree in Economics from the University of Ruhuna. He obtained Master of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Colombo (2002) and the  PhD Degree in Economics at the same University (2016).  He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Charted Proffesional Managers (FCPM).
