Andy is the Head of the Gifted Education Department at St. Hilda’s Primary School in Singapore. He recently obtained a Master's by Research from the National Institute of Education (Singapore) and is currently a part-time Ph.D. candidate investigating students’ emotional climates when they engage in creative work collaboratively.
Andy is a firm believer in using theory-backed approaches to bridge the gap between the promises of technology and teachers' practices. Leveraging on his research experience, Andy leads multi-disciplinary teams of educators to use collaborative technology and learning analytics to facilitate students’ efforts in knowledge creation. Together with his teachers, Andy regularly shares these innovative practices at local and international conferences and has contributed to publications and book chapters.
