Alain BULLOT, President, LeonKaiMus

Alain started his career in SNCF (French National Railways) in 1985 as Director of several maintenance workshops (TGV, suburban traffic, freight…). Alain was then appointed as Projects Director for the development of new locomotives. In 2002, he became Deputy Director of Human Resources, in charge of management programs. Sooner after, Alain became Head of several regional Divisions first in Champagne-Ardenne (Reims area - east of France), preparing the building process of the future East High Speed Line and then in the South area of Paris, managing mass transit traffic for lines C, N, U and high speed line n°2 .  Then he became Head of the Freight Division for Normandy and Paris Region,  with strong competitiveness program and partnership with 4 international ports. 

General Manager of the Rolling Stock division of SNCF from 2008 to 2012, Alain managed engineering, testing, procurement, and all levels of maintenance and refurbishment within the 40 plants of the company. The objective was to improve the maintenance efficiency for better reliability and availability of the fleet, in line with the high level needed by the business units. 

In 2012, Alain was asked to coordinate Brazilian projects for SNCF, in charge of the bidding process for TAV Rio de Janeiro – São Paulo – Campinas in cooperation with Alstom. 

From 2013 to 2017 Alain was General Manager of Fer de France, which is a joint-trade organization of public and private stakeholders in the French Rail sector from across the value chain : PTAs, freight and passengers operators, Network owners, Manufacturers and Engineering companies. Its initial purposes are to reinforce the French expertise and to promote a global and common vision of efficient mobility both in France and in the world (106 countries). Key player of COP21, promoting energy conversion to avoid climate effects, Fer de France acts to increase the modal shift to clean transportation means. It claims and reinforces the central role of Rail in the mobility for the future.

In 2017 Alain founded LeonKaiMus, advisoring company for railways strategy and performance.
