With more than 10 years of experience working with small and medium-sized enterprises ("SMEs") in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region, Eldred is a seasoned investment professional.

Prior to founding Edenity, Eldred was an Investment Banking Associate at Abacus Capital, spearheading the M&A division. During his tenure, he led all aspects of a deal lifecycle, including origination, execution and transaction closure. He began his career at PwC Singapore performing statutory audits for SMEs within the region, and subsequently held a pivotal role in a Singapore-based sustainability-focused private equity firm where he guided strategic expansion into Indonesia, Philippines and India.

Harnessing his extensive experiences working with SMEs, Eldred is dedicated to Edenity's mission of empowering SME growth through his genuine approach of building lasting relationships.

How corporate service SMEs can transform their legacies through M&A

As someone who prides himself as a champion of Singapore SMEs within the corporate services space with revenue between S$1-10M due to personal convictions arising from challenges that made me who I am, my pitch will be centred around how traditional SMEs can elevate and transform their legacies through M&A by preparing themselves to be investor ready by addressing three key pain points: lack of proper accounting and internal controls, lack of online presence, and limited adoption of new technology. My pitch will provide valuable insights as to how corporate services SMEs can reach new heights through new investment as someone who works at the intersection of both industries.
