Charu is a co-founder at TriOn & Co, a strategic communications consultancy, where she is the Chief Strategy Officer. She is also the Chair of the inaugural Equality, Diversity & Inclusion committee at the Public Relations and Communications Association Asia-Pacific (PRCA APAC). Charu brings with her over 15 years of experience in corporate and government affairs locally, regionally and internationally.

Charu am an award-winning communications leader with an extensive proven track-record with clients such as UOB FinLab, Singapore Business Federation, BIGO, Victoria Government Trade and Investment, Ministry of Law Singapore, Prime Minister’s Office Singapore, Hitachi Asia and many others.

Over the years, Charu has led her teams to multiple wins and shortlists at the PRCA APAC Awards, PRISM Awards, PR Awards, SABRE awards. She was awarded Outstanding PR Mentor at the PRISM awards 2021. She is also invited to judge industry awards.

Charu is an accredited member of the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore. She regularly speaks at industry events and conferences and is sought for her insights on communications issues and trends as well as diversity, inclusion and equality at the workplace.
