I run my own Virtual CFO business called Boyd Business Advisory after a career break. I spent the previous 13 years from 2009 as co-owner and Director running a Virtual CFO business which I successfully exited via a trade sale in 2022. My experience is primarily in the non-listed private company space across a range of industries. My key focus with all my client work is profitable  business growth by providing ongoing financial reporting, being the focal point for legal and regulatory advice, strategic planning and financial modelling, mentoring business owners, M&A work, valuations, new business divisions set up, major tenders, independent expert, leading third party engagement with financial institutions. Before this, 1988 – 2009 I built my financial and leadership skills by performing for 23 years as CFO and Director providing financial and business direction based in four global locations with a listed financial information company. Achievements ncluded - successful Asia SOX compliance, leader and successful execution of numerous transformation projects from new systems & process implementations, off shoring work and outsourcing specific processes. Projects ranged in size from $1m - $1bn. Managed staff ranging from 25 to 130 during this time.I’m a CPA (Aus) and CIMA (UK) qualified accountant
