Stephanie Schorge, Professor Of Translational Neuroscience And The Wellcome Chair Of Pharmacology, University College London

Stephanie Schorge has a PhD in Neuroscience from Brown University, and has a longstanding interest in how mutations alter neuronal excitability in neurological conditions. She came to UCL in 1999 for a 3 year postdoctoral position and never left. She is now Professor of Translational Neuroscience and the Wellcome Chair of Pharmacology at the UCL School of Pharmacy. Stephanie is part of an ongoing collaboration with Profs Dimitri Kullmann and Matthew Walker to develop a portfolio of gene therapy treatments for epilepsy.
