Dr. Kochan has extensive scientific and management background in early and late clinical development programs in oncology, metabolic disease, cardiovascular, immunology, and inflammation. He has made important contributions in biomarker identification and development, and the application of biomarkers in clinical development. Jarema has been with Turnstone Biologics for almost 2 years. Prior to that he was Director Clinical Biomarkers at Daiichi Sankyo. He was at Hoffmann-La Roche for many years, where he supported research and clinical development. While at Roche, he was also a visiting professor at Rutgers University for 9 years. Dr. Kochan completed his postdoctoral fellowship in the department of biochemical genetics, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Institute following his PhD in Medical Genetics at the University of Toronto. Jarema has mentored many post-doctoral fellows, coauthored over 65 publications in peer-reviewed journals, delivered numerous presentations at national and international meetings, and filed 12 patent applications.
