Nanotein Technologies, Inc. is a fast-moving startup company from Berkeley, California, that has innovated a best-in-class T cell activation and expansion reagent for the CAR-T industry. This reagent generates more T cells per unit time, while greatly preserving their ‘stemness,’ a T cell characteristic highly correlated with better patient outcomes. Using their modular underlying platform, Nanotein has developed variant formulations that selectively expand different T cell subsets, for greater control over the final expanded profile.
