• Arthronica is a digital health tech start-up company that spun-out from the Bioengineering department of Imperial College London in 2018. The aim of the company is to use computer vision to prevent from chronic pain and support doctors in diagnosis and treatment of arthritic conditions. The system also allows video consultation and real time analytics of patient progress to pharmacological treatment or physiotherapy interventions. Arthronica has won the support of RebelBio (SOSV), Research England (via the MedTech Superconnector), Versus Arthritis, the Wellcome Trust (via the Bioengineering department at Imperial College London), the Johnson & Johnson Innovation Center and Entrepreneur First. Arthronica has recently secured capital investment and its models are currently being validated in ongoing trials in Leeds NHS Trust, Kings and Imperial to gain CE marked by May 2020.
