He holds a degree in Industrial Pharmacy from Faculdade Oswaldo Cruz, a specialist in Health Law from USP and in Business Management from ESPM. He has taken complementary courses in the area of biotechnology at North Caroline State University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He began his career at Fundação Butantan in April 2007 in the Quality area. He currently represents Butantan as secretary in the Emerging Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturers Network (BPMN) and is the Deputy Chair of the Board of the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network (DCVMN).
