Sanjay Sethi, Professor And Chief, Pulmonary, Critical Care And Sleep Medicine; Assistant Vice President For Health Sciences, The University at Buffalo

Sanjay Sethi, MD, FACP, is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Buffalo, SUNY, where he is Chief of the Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine Division, Assistant Vice President for Health Sciences and Director of the Clinical Research office.  His main research interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory infections, specifically focused on exacerbations, new therapeutics and innate lung defense. Dr Sethi has co-authored more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and is on the editorial board for several pulmonary journals. He has served as a grant reviewer for the NIH and VA and in several roles in the American Thoracic Society including chair for the Clinical Problems Assembly.
