Dr Justin R Ortiz, Affiliate Assistant Professor, Global Health, Affiliate Assistant Professor, Medicine Medical Officer, Initiative for Vaccine Re, WHO

Justin Ortiz is a global health physician and vaccinologist, and is currently leads influenza vaccine research, policy development, and implementation for the World Health Organization (WHO) Initiative for Vaccine Research. He previously held joint appointments as a vaccine trialist at PATH and as a physician-scientist at the University of Washington (UW) Departments of Medicine and Global Health (where he remains affiliate faculty). Dr. Ortiz's clinical and research expertise is the epidemiology, treatment, and prevention of respiratory infections in low-resource settings.
