Julia Stephanus is currently a Partner at Borealis Ventures, a leading venture capital firm specializing in investing in healthcare and the life sciences sectors. With over 35 years of experience in the animal health biotech and pharmaceutical industries, Julia has built and scaled two animal health companies: Summit Vet Pharm sold to Ceva and Aratana Therapeutics (PETX) sold to Elanco (ELAN).  She has deep experience with the launch of over 30 veterinary products.  Julia is Executive Chair of a Borealis-incubated company, namely Jenga Biosciences, specializing in pet oncology. Julia is also an angel investor and member of VANE (Veterinary Angel Network for Entrepreneurs). Julia is on the Boards of: PBI Gordon, ReduxBio and Feather in Her Cap.  Julia is passionate about driving innovation and collaboration to address global animal health challenges.
