Jorge Armero Gimenez is a key member of LenioBio’s Platform Development team, specializing in the advancement of recombinant protein vaccines utilizing the ALiCE® cell-free protein expression system.
Jorge earned his PhD from Wageningen University & Research (WUR) in collaboration with LenioBio GmbH, where he developed a versatile and rapid vaccine platform targeting emerging diseases. His research emphasized the production of virus-like particles (VLPs) and their functionalization with viral antigens, showcasing his proficiency in innovative vaccine development techniques. Prior to his doctoral studies, Jorge graduated cum laude with a Master’s in Plant Biotechnology from WUR.
