Colin Basler, One Health Office Deputy Director and CDC One Health Liaison to WOAH, CDC

Dr. Colin Basler is the deputy director of CDC’s One Health Office and the CDC One Health liaison to the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). He received his DVM and MPH degrees from Tufts University.  Prior to joining CDC’s One Health Office, Dr. Basler trained as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer and later served as a veterinary epidemiologist with the Outbreak Response and Prevention Branch of the Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases at the CDC.
