Bridget has worked in the health care field for over 25 years in both clinical and the bio-pharmaceutical industry. She has spent 17 of those 25 years focusing on vaccines and vaccine preventable diseases. Bridget’s need to understand the real-world journey of the sites and participants in clinical research led Bridget to join PanAmerican Clinical Research. Prior to her current role, she was employed at ICON focusing on developing sites for global vaccine research and engaging patients and advocacy groups to bring their voices to clinical research. Before her work in patient-focused research, she worked for Merck & Co. for over 18 years. Her most recent position at Merck was in Vaccine Strategy and Solutions where she led the creation, development, and approval of Vaccine Enterprise Solutions, to drive innovation in population health management and increase vaccination rates. While at Merck, Bridget held other vaccine and nonvaccine related roles, such as Lead Vaccine Specialist, where she worked closely with Health Care Providers and Key Opinion Leaders to positively impact vaccination rates. Although, she spent most of her time in industry, her passion for research stemmed from her education and experience as a Pediatric and Neonatal Registered Nurse.
