Alexa Trost, Senior Consultant, Access Partnership

Alexa Trost is a passionate global health advocate and Senior Consultant at Access Partnership, where she supports the firm’s global health portfolio and advises multinational companies on issues related to global health by creating innovative solutions that improve access to health services, including vaccination.
Alexa works to identify barriers and co-create solutions for life-course immunization through public-private partnerships in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) by uniting governments, civil society, academia, and industry. Her interests in data-driven health policies led to the development and launch of the APEC Regional Dashboard on Vaccination Across the Life-Course and Status Report on Cervical Cancer Elimination in the APEC Region.
Prior to joining Access Partnership, Alexa worked at C&M International, a global government affairs and public policy firm, and Avalere Health, a leading U.S. healthcare advisory firm. At Avalere, she supported life sciences clients on issues related to public policy, government affairs, and market strategy, with a targeted focus on U.S. vaccine policy and COVID-19 response.
Her interests in global disease prevention started during an internship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. She also held internships at the American Red Cross and Signal Vine, and has volunteered for several grassroots health and human services organizations.
