Alejandra Hermosilla Gonçalves is a Senior Manager in Medical Affairs at Bavarian Nordic, a leading vaccine company. She joined the company in 2024 as a Medical Science Liaison, bringing a strong background in infectious diseases. Alejandra earned her medical degree from Fluminense Federal University in Brazil, where she also trained in pediatrics at Hospital Federal de Bonsucesso. She later specialized in pediatric infectious diseases through a fellowship at the Federal University of São Paulo.
With years of experience as a Pediatric Emergency Room Physician in Brazil, Alejandra further expanded her knowledge by completing the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She also served as a teaching assistant there and was honored with the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award for her work.
In her current role, Alejandra uses her clinical and research experience to build strong relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders. She focuses on strategic planning and medical communication.
