The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) and its Medical Countermeasures Systems group seeks innovative, safe and effective medical solutions to counter exposure/potential exposure to CBRN threats. The Medical CBRN Defense Consortium (MCDC) was formed to establish an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) to support the DoD’s medical pharmaceutical and diagnostic requirements as related to enhancing the mission effectiveness of military personnel. The consortium is comprised of traditional and non-traditional defense contractors, small businesses, for-profit and not-for-profit entities and academia specializing in prevention, detection, and treatment technologies.
