Vaccine Congress Washington 2020 is going digital

We’re delighted to announce that the 2020 edition of Vaccine Congress Washington is going virtual for 2020.

What does this mean for you?

Because attendance is now possible from anywhere in the world and without additional travel costs, we are already expecting more delegates at the event than ever before, which will greatly enhance your networking and learning opportunities. We expect thousands of attendees.

 

What is your Digital platform?

We are investing in an award-winning advanced AI powered matchmaking, networking and conference platform that will help us create as close the opportunities to the LIVE event as we can, and even more.

 

When will the virtual sessions take place?

The sessions will be taking place from approx. 8am – 6pm ET from the 28th September through to the 1st October, 2020.

 

Will sessions be available after the presentations have taken place live?

Yes, through the virtual platform as a delegate you will have easier access to more sessions than ever before through the video replay function for each session. We do our best to share as many presentations as we are allowed to of course dependant on approval of the speakers.  

 

I am currently registered for the World Vaccine Congress Washington. What do I need to do?

No action is required where your current ticket has been automatically transferred to the World Vaccine Congress Washington virtual event platform.  We are also offering booked delegates a voucher to bring two more colleagues to attend the virtual event with you, where with so much more accessible content and potential people to network with, you can really benefit from having the support of your team and colleagues.

How do I register additional colleagues who want to join through my voucher?

Please just email andrew.li@terrapinn.com or  martha.phillips@terrapinn.com  with the names of those you would like to add to your registration and we will add them to the event.

 

What if I cant attend the Virtual meeting live on the dates? Will sessions be recorded?

Yes all sessions we have approval to share will be recorded and made available post meeting on the platform to watch again so if you cant make the dates you can still get all the content.

 

I do not plan to attend the World Vaccine Congress Washington Virtual. Can I get a refund?

COVID-19 has affected us all, and particularly the events industry, but we have invested heavily to still deliver the WVC to you with hundreds of speakers, session content and all the networking opportunities intact. Together, this is on a much more accessible and sophisticated virtual platform, in the safety of your own home, which came first in our decision to go virtual. Now more than ever, we feel socially responsible to still connect you and the hardworking community to tackle this pandemic as one.

Unfortunately we can’t offer a refund but you can transfer your ticket to a colleague to attend in your place if need be and invite additional colleagues to benefit from the opportunity.  

 

Will attendees and exhibitors be refunded for airline tickets and hotel costs?

The hotel bookings which were booked originally through our official link and room block were released and not charged. If you booked independently, please check through your original contacts. Registrants are responsible for cancelling their own airline reservations.

New exhibitor and sponsor benefits which are explained in more detail HERE , will offer even more access and exposure to the increased delegate numbers for the event that we already have attending. You will be receiving further details of this from your account managers shortly, if you haven’t already, explaining the transition and what this means for your individual package.
