Wayland Coker, Chief Supply Chain Strategist, Dept of Health & Human Services/ASPR

Wayland Coker currently serves as the Chief Supply Chain Strategist, Supply Chain Optimization Office Director, in the Industrial Base Management & Supply Chain (IBMSC) program office at the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). He is a retired Naval Officer, serving onboard a submarine during the cold war, a surface ship during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as well as Pentagon tours on the Navy staff. He owned a supply chain and logistics consulting firm for over 20 years serving both the public and private sectors in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. He also authored the book, “Overcoming in Business and Life” (Koehler Books, June 2022). He lives in northern Virginia with his wife, Karen.
