Jean de Foucauld graduated as a doctor of veterinary medicine from the Alfort Veterinary School in France and since then, has been worked in the field of vaccine first in manufacturing and then development and regulatory affairs. He has a practical experience from projects carried out in many parts of the world, particularly in Europe, the USA, Japan and China.
He started his career in Africa on foot-and-mouth disease; he continued in the field of vaccine development and production at Vétoquinol and Sanofi Animal Health in France.
He later joined Rhône-Merieux to head the global biological registration and project management team for poultry vaccines, based in France and later in the USA.
Since 1999, he is with Ceva Santé Animale. First working at the main Bio centre for Ceva in Budapest and now in France, he was, for 12 years, responsible for vaccine regulatory affairs and clinical development for the company.
Since 2011, he works on specific projects for Ceva Biology Business Unit and Ceva R&D, recently focusing more on Europe regulatory field.
