Nicole Boice | President and Founder
Global Genes Project

Nicole Boice, President and Founder, Global Genes Project

Nicole founded Global Genes in 2008, with the goal of helping families affected by rare disease connect with tools, resources, and much needed support, helping eliminate the challenges of rare disease. She has successfully launched and developed Global Genes to a multi-million dollar non profit fulfilling her vision of a successful organization that benefits children with rare diseases, their families and the organizations that support them. Since it’s inception, Global Genes has impacted hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide.
Nicole was personally touched by rare disease through friends, whose son struggled to find a diagnosis for over 2 years. Once diagnosed, they learned that there were neither treatments nor cures for their son’s disease. She understands the importance of finding a diagnosis, and has built an organization to help address this problem.
Prior to founding Global Genes, Nicole has held numerous consulting, sales, and marketing executive roles in her 25 years of experience. Nicole has worked with world-class organizations in media, pharmaceutical and high tech sectors. Nicole is a proven leader, with a strong emphasis in launching new products, developing new revenue streams, creating and implementing integrated marketing programs, building strategic partnerships and managing a highly successful business.
Nicole is a native of Southern California. She holds her BS in Political Science from the University of California San Diego. Nicole is a proud wife and mother of two children, and in her spare time enjoys yoga and beach volleyball.
