Yvette Venable Head of EU/CAN Market Access, BBU, AstraZeneca Yvette Venable is an experienced life sciences leader with more than 25 years in health policy, public affairs, patient engagement, advocacy, and market access. Currently, she is head of Europe and Canada Market Access and leads global payer partnerships and payer policy for AstraZeneca’s Biopharmaceutical Business Unit. Previously, Yvette was the first vice president of patient and community engagement for the Institute of Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), a non-profit Health Technology Assessor in the United States. Her career also includes leadership roles in global and European public policy and patient advocacy within life sciences companies across various therapy areas and senior positions in consultancy. Yvette graduated with honors from Drake University and holds a MSc. in Global Public Health from Imperial College London.
