Yvette Venable Global Payer Partnerships and Policy, AstraZeneca Ms. Venable is an accomplished life sciences leader, with more than 25 years’ experience in health policy and public affairs, patient engagement and advocacy, and market access. Currently, she leads global value and market access policy for AstraZeneca’s Biopharmaceutical Business Unit. Previously, Ms. Venable was the first vice president of patient and community engagement for the Institute of Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), a non-profit Health Technology Assessor in the United States. She also previously led global and European public policy and patient advocacy within life sciences companies across a range of therapy areas including oncology, rare and ultra-rare diseases, CVRM, neurology, immunology and vaccines. Earlier in her career, Ms. Venable held increasingly senior roles within global health communication and public affairs consultancies. Ms. Venable graduated with honors from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and holds a Masters of Science in Global Public Health from Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine London.
