COVID SAFETY AND FAQ

 

 

HOW THE EVENT WILL RUN

 
In person only: The event will be fully in person, with no hybrid or virtual attendance possible. The value in the World Drug Safety lies in face-to-face networking, meetings and learnings and we are excited to reunite the industry.
 
In order to allow the event to run safely, we will have strict Covid Protocols in place, working closely with the venue and local partners to ensure we are following national and local regulations.

ENTRY TO THE NETHERLANDS

 
If you are attending from abroad, you will need to check what restrictions are in place for your country of origin.
 
 
 
 

VACCINATION & TESTING

 
We will be using the CoronaVirus Entry Pass system on entry to the venue, all participants must prove either:

GOVERNMENT REGULATION AND GUIDANCE 

As we will be using Corona Virus Entry Pass System for entry to the venue, attendees will not need to wear a mask.  
When seated no social distancing is necessary. In areas where attendees are moving around, such as the exhibition hall, 1.5 meters distancing will be in place.
 
There will be capacity limits for each room that all attendees must adhere to throughout their time at the event. 

 

 

VENUE AND EVENT FACILITIES

 
Enhanced Cleaning: The venue is committed to the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness, with continuous cleaning throughout the World Drug Safety.  
 
Personal hygiene: Hand stations will be available across the venue and airflow will be enhanced across the building. We encourage all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.

 

 

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Registration process: Our staff will handle the registration process on your arrival at the event, minimising contact for all attendees.  
 
Physical contact: We request that participants avoid physical contact such as handshakes and embraces. There will be no printed agendas or materials on site and everything will be possible to access via the World Drug Safety App, available to all attendees.
 
Physical distancing: We will maintain 1.5m social distancing in line with Dutch regulations and venue or other relevant guidance. This is not applicable when seated, for example, in a content theatre, at a seated meeting or when eating. This will be managed through control measures such as pre-event communications to participants, widened aisles throughout the show and on site staff.
 
Food and beverage: Our team are working closely with venue partners to employ the highest standard of food safety, including by minimising self-service. If any queuing is anticipated, social distancing will be maintained. When eating or drinking, all delegates must take a seat in the designated areas.

 

 

HEALHT AND SAFETY

 
Personal protective equipment (PPE): We will be using the Coronavirus entry pass system which means that facemasks are not required. Anyone who prefers to wear a mask is welcome to do so.
 
Medical: We will have a team of qualified first aiders on site and a separate quarantine area. Please do not attend the show if you are feeling unwell. We will follow the Dutch health authority guidance on detecting and managing anyone who shows symptoms of COVID-19.
 
Trace and contact: In the event of any positive test results, we will cooperate with the Dutch authorities to trace and contact participants. We will always conform with Dutch and international standards for data privacy and information sharing.
