Johan Nilvebrant received his PhD in 2012 at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. He was a postdoc with Sachdev Sidhu at the University of Toronto where he worked on new single-domain antibody library designs and ligand-mimicking antibodies. His current research focuses on protein- and antibody engineering using combinatorial libraries displayed on phage or cells to develop novel binding proteins for basic research, diagnostics and therapeutics.
There are two parts to the Festival of Biologics: the five world-class international conferences covering Antibodies, Immunotherapy, BioSimilars, Clinical Trials, and High Potency APIs; and an exhibition featuring the most exciting technology and solutions for pharma and biotech. There is a registration fee to attend the conferences. To visit the exhibition is free.
