Halix BV

HALIX B.V. is a contract manufacturing organisation and offers services in the field of GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals and small molecules.

HALIX offers two lines of business:
HALIX has dedicated class C and B cleanrooms with containment class BSL2 in which we perform upstream- and downstream processing of recombinant proteins like (but not limited to) antibodies, and for manufacturing of viral and gene therapy products based on mammalian or insect production platforms. We offer a complete solution for your virus and protein DS manufacturing needs with at the core our 250 liter bioreactor technology.
In addition, HALIX manufactures Drug Product, both from in-house produced bulk drug substance, and from externally sourced BDS. We offer formulation, aseptic fill and finish services and lyophilisation. To complete the package we offer labelling and packaging, full QC support and QP release services.
Both for DS and DP production we can scale up lab sized processes, optimise USP, DSP and FF processes and develop lyophilisation cycle. This enables us to help you take your first steps into GMP, after which we can support you through your clinical trials.
HALIX can offer these services both for biopharmaceuticals and small molecules.
HALIX has a unique cooperation with the HAL Allergy, a well-established and experienced pharmaceutical company. This makes it possible to leverage 55 years of experience in cGMP manufacturing, expertise in small to midsize pharmaceutical batch level and to offer a broad package of services. All the while remaining a dedicated, lean and flexible organisation.
