Piotr Pietrzyk, Chief Executive Officer, 6G Academy

Piotr Pietrzyk is the CEO and Founder of 6G Academy - a newly formed virtual center for the learning experience on the future of tech. 6G Academy’s mission is to train the world’s workforce in futuristic careers. By partnering with leading technology companies to learn how technology is transforming industries and teach the critical tech skills that companies are looking for in their workforce.

Besides founding 6G Academy, Piotr is the CEO and Founder of 5G-Courses.com. A vendor-agnostic learning experience provider led not by traditional trainers but by 3GPP delegates, R&D Directors, and Senior Executives.

Piotr has more than 15 years of experience in advanced wireless networks and telecom market intelligence. Before his entrepreneurial journey, he was responsible for business growth in the EMEA region for the Canadian company – Nutaq, a provider of reconfigurable software-defined radio platforms to prototype next-generation wireless systems, and IS-Wireless, a provider of software and hardware necessary for building 4G and 5G networks in both RAN and Core.

Piotr did his M.Sc. project at IMEC - Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre in Leuven, Belgium. He worked under the supervision of Prof. Sophie Pollin, on Cognitive Radio concepts for next-gen wireless systems. During his studies at Wroclaw, the University of Technology in Poland, Piotr was the Co-Founder and Chairman of the student organization named Wireless Group. This is where the idea on the napkin developed and grew to over 80 active members and over 10 interdisciplinary projects. The group, after 13 years, is still operating and setting ambitious goals.

Being a 3rd-year student, Piotr was selected by Analog Devices to join their automotive application team in Limerick, Ireland. As one of the youngest members, he designed and developed complex hardware and software solutions to test the functionalities and performance of chipsets for end clients such as Mercedes-Benz & BMW.
