Simon is a Principal Architect at Telstra with a focus on Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Virtualisation (NV) and Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV), Orchestration, Data Modelling and also looking at how those elements can be used in Public and Hybrid Cloud Architectures.
He has been in the networking industry for 20 years and has held various roles in carriers and vendors in Europe & APAC.
Simon is also a regular speaker at conferences, like VMWorld and the MPLS World Congress, has contributed / coauthored multiple RFCs in the IETF and worked on topics such as QoS / MPLS Architecture / Triple-play / Security / Complex network solutions & architectures for large customers.
